As a part of this class, we each took one embedded system and applied various interaction design principles to improve the experience of the embedded system.
I picked the Nikon DSLR camera for exploration. Snap Away is a tool that connects the camera on the tripod to the photographer. It enables remote viewing of the cameras view and quick setting capabilities.
It uses the following interaction design principles: voice user interface, touch and gesture interaction, reality based interaction, sensory mapping and context awareness
Learnings: Various principles of interaction design for embedded systems, Affordances/limitations of various modes of interactions
