Post my internship, I assimilated various design recommendations from the service model to design 'Accompany' a mobile application that accompanies a cancer patient or caregiver during their visit to MSK. This mobile application provides functions that would make the appointment experience more fluent and less stressful. It helps patients anticipate what to expect, whom to meet, how to get there, communicate waiting times, explore resources, document appointment notes and book transportation.
